REAL (Realising Equality and Achievement for Learners) aims to improve the achievement of gifted and talented learners from black and minority ethnic (BME) backgrounds, and those who have English as an additional language (EAL). For all queries please contact real@londongt.org

London Gifted & Talented is working with a national network of schools and local authorities to develop a bank of web-based guidance, tools, resources and multi-media training materials as part of a White Paper project. The aim is to improve the overall quality of gifted and talented education for students from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and those with English as an additional language. This two-year project is generating scalable and transferable resources and ideas, which will enable schools and LAs to transform the way they address the issues surrounding BME and EAL achievement.

Please note that this is the pilot version of the REAL site. The new site, www.realproject.org.uk is under development and will include the full range of resources from the project.
